Some more Tyler/Jeremy from Vicki's POV. Still working on the sequel for How Things Change. Read and review, peoples!

Vicki's dead.

No really. She's dead and gone, not a vampire, but merely a ghost. She lingers in the town after she dies and frankly, it sucks. She can't tell her brother and mom how sorry she is for the mess she's made; she can't wring Damon's neck for screwing everything up, but mostly Vicki's just pissed about Tyler and Jeremy.

She's not holding them back anymore. She's gone and now the two are free to be friends (and more, but that will come soon enough), but they're pussyfooting around each other like the other's still a threat. It's enough to drive a girl crazy.

They go well together. Tyler's strong willed, stubborn and aggressive; he tends to fuck everything up, but Jeremy's sweet, loyal and just a little submissive. If anyone can get a handle on Tyler, it's Jeremy.

She knows Tyler's had an eye on the boy for a while; Vicki's caught him leaning forward in his seat and licking his lips when Jeremy's playing pool and when she just raised an eyebrow at him, Tyler couldn't say anything. He just looked away as if he was ashamed and Vicki's guessing the father's to blame on this one.

And the attraction isn't one sided. At first, she thought he was looking at her, but Jeremy's been staring at Tyler for a while now, just admiring the strength behind Tyler's physique, passing it off with a half-hearted glare when she caught him.

Vicki's not miffed that they're so stupid or that the love triangle was really just about those two. She kind of wishes that they could have had a threesome, but once the opportunities passed, the game is over. It's up to them now.

Get it together, boys.
