There she stood, watching the sun rise, basking in the first rays of the new day. A playful breeze blew her long hair around, messing it up even more. He approached her with silent steps, taking his place at her side. She glanced at him from the corner of her eye, already knowing what she'd see. A powerful stance, a commanding air, hard eyes that softened every now and then. The aura of a king, the enigma that was their lord. He was the Sun, the fire that breathes life.

"The night gives way to day," she spoke softly, her gaze returning to the slowly brightening sky.

"The moon gives light to the dark. Without the moon, there is no night. And without the night, there is no rest."

The moon cannot shine without the sun, it is a fact. But isn't it also that the sun cannot shine its brightest without the presence of the glowing moon?

There will be no tranquil nights without the moon; there are no warm days without the sun.

The Sun and the Moon are equal; one cannot be without the other.
