Looking for a Brucas Story

Lucas wrote a letter to current gf explaining his and Brooke's story and how he can't give his heart to her because Brooke has always had it. Lucas at the end goes to live his life as a monk, discovering Brooke is married with a kid. Gf touched by story.

Looking for a story in which Lucas writes a letter to his girlfriend telling her he can't be with her because he's always going to be in love with Brooke. In the letter he explains the time he spent with Brooke and then when he moved from Tree Hill how she never showed up to say bye. He sees Brooke in Tree Hill later, while visiting, and Lucas finds out that Brooke didn't show up at the River Court because she'd gotten into a car accident. The River Court had changed significantly since he's been in Tree Hill, with shops and restaurants now. Brooke was now married with a kid. He leaves Brooke a gift and she's left crying on the river court as he gets in a cab and leaves to live his life as a monk, because he'll never get over Brooke. As the girlfriend reads this she doesn't get mad but cries for the heart breaking story.

That's the summary as well as I remember it, I'm pretty sure this story was a one-shot, posted a couple years ago (2007-08), but not sure. If you have any idea where this is drop a review please.
