"Nope
"Nope." He said.
I looked at him strangely, "Seriously?"
He smiled shyly, "Seriously."
I couldn't help but wonder if he was just telling me the thing I wanted to hear. It was hard imagining Troy a virgin.
I was quiet. The air around us was awkward. Not the usual peaceful quiet we had.
Finally I spoke up, "Well, that's good to know."
He sighed, "Yeah."
Awkwardness was in the air.
"I think I'm going to go," Troy said quietly.
Why was this so awkward?
Finally I spoke up, "Troy don't go."
He smiled, "Ok."
"I'm sorry for being awkward. I can't imagine you being a virgin."
He laughed, "I know."
I laughed and knew the awkwardness was gone.
