Kaidoh Kaoru had a problem.
One he wasn't equipped to deal with.
He was in love.
In lust.
In something.
With his sempai. And not just any sempai, Inui-sempai.
He swore he must have masochistic tendencies to be attracted to Inui-sempai.
He had tried to approach Inui but every time he did he got embarrassed and chickened out. Because of that he had taken to what could probably be classified as stalking. Currently he was watching Inui from behind a large tree on the school grounds as the older male muttered to himself and classified different flora and fauna.
Inui tried to hide a smile. Despite what his kouhai thought, he was not oblivious to the other's increasingly stalkerish inclinations. He didn't know why the other had taken to following him everywhere, but he was very interested in finding out, even if it meant allowing the other male to follow him everywhere for the rest of the school year.
Kaidoh's nails dug into the bark of the tree he was hiding behind. Now was the perfect time. Inui-sempai was alone. He should talk to him now. Somehow though his body didn't agree with him. It refused to move any closer. Coward. A part of his brain whispered. Kaidoh hissed quietly, he was not a coward. He was being careful, that's all. Sure… careful, is that what they're calling it these days? You're being cowardly Kaoru. Just go jump him. Kaidoh flushed red. He couldn't do that. What if Inui rejected him? Pouncing him would be awfully hard to explain away as an accident…
The sound of leaves rustling and the scratch of Inui's pen were all that could be heard. The school day was long over, even tennis practice. The cataloguing Inui was working on was purely for his own interest and soon he became so engrossed in his work that he momentarily forgot Kaidoh's presence. It was then that Kaidoh finally gathered his courage and silently walked up behind his sempai. Leaning forward to place a hand on Inui's shoulder, the older teen leaned forward at the exact moment causing Kaidoh to lose his balance and topple forward, crushing Inui beneath him.
Blushing furiously Kaidoh rolled off Inui, "Um… Inui-sempai, I'm sorry. You moved, and I lost my balance, and I…" Kaidoh stopped abruptly as Inui put a hand over his mouth.
"It's quite all right. It was an accident. Was there a reason you wished to see me for Kaidoh-kun?"
Kaidoh just stared for a moment, even after Inui removed his hand. "Um… I wanted to… I… Fssshuuu…" His face got hot as he blushed again. Turning his head he started intently at the notebook lying on the grass near them. "I just wanted to… um… Inui-sempaiIlikeyou." He exhaled the last words in one rush of air hoping he wouldn't have to repeat them.
Inui blinked for a moment. Of all the reasons he had come up with for Kaidoh's following him, that had been near the bottom. And it had only been a 0.02 chance due to his own wishful thinking. Grinning like a loon he grasped Kaidoh's chin gently and leaned towards the other, kissing him gently. "I like you too Kaidoh."
