Brothers

It was night and everyone in the Akatsuki was asleep. Hidan stumbled down the hallway from his room to the kitchen, mumbling curses all the way, for a glass of milk. Hidan was a horrible insomniac paired with horrible nightmares or his past; making sleep near impossible. Usually Hidan slept fairly well with his lover Kakuzu to protect him but said miser was on a bounty mission with the Uchiha.

"Stupid Uchiha fucker," Hidan grumbled.

Hidan paused in the doorway of the living room. Kisame was lying on his stomach on the largest couch in the room (and world); trying to sleep it would seem. Kisame's eyes creaked open and he smiling at the sight of the albino.

"Hey Hidan-chan," Kisame said in a tired voice. "Having trouble?"

Hidan nodded while rubbing his eye. "I need Kuzu," he mumbled childishly.

Hidan never had a childhood nor siblings or friends. Kisame made Hidan become the kid he never was and the two of them could always be themselves when they were together.

Kisame chuckled. "Come here Hidan-chan," he said gently, opening his arm invitingly.

Hidan stumbled over and pulled the quilt off Kisame's form. Laying on his stomach, on Kisame's back, Hidan put the blanket back over them again. They looked quite humorous as Hidan just barely covered the shark nin's back.

"Goodnight Hidan-chan," Kisame said warmly, falling asleep.

"Night Kisa," Hidan murmured.

~Next Morning.

Kakuzu and Itachi Uchiha stared at the lrage lump of bodies on the couch. Kakuzu sighed and shook his head, walking forward, he lifted up his zealot.

"My apologies Itachi-san," said Kakuzu. "I'll keep better watch of him next time," and he left.

"Hn," Itachi replied and sat on Kisame's back.

"Morning Itachi-san," Kisame grunted.

"Hn."

A little random but I liked the idea of my sharki-sweetheart being nice to my favorite albino! *w*
