"Hey Riiiiiii! I have something for yoooouuuu!" a voice singsonged from the doorway. Shuriken didn't even look up from her paperwork as she knew her fate if she did. Instead she ignored the man trying to entice her away from the pile of paperwork on her desk.

"Shuri, I have a present for you," he continued, taking a step further into the room. The object in his hand had curls of steam rising from the surface. He held it out to her, with a goofy grin on his face, even though her back was to him.

Shuriken still didn't look up at the approaching man. She had to sign all these papers before she could leave for the day and someone definitely wasn't making it very easy for her. "Shunsui, just because you won't do your own paperwork doesn't mean I'm not going to either," she tiredly.

"Fine," he huffed, "I guess I'll have to eat this delicious bowl of hot miso ramen with kamaboko and sliced pork all by myself." She paused at his words, pen poised mid air, and slowly turned her head to see if he actually had soup with him. She was greeted with the bowl of ramen a mere foot away, while Shunsui waited with a knowing smile on his face.

Paperwork temporarily forgotten Shuriken reached for the bowl but Shunsui pulled it towards himself and took a step back. "Ah-ah! You have to come with me if you want this bowl of ramen my lovely Shuri!" he voiced with glee. Standing up she didn't hesitate in following the pink robed man out the door.

The movement was her downfall. As well as the end of her finishing any paperwork for the time being. The distraction had worked and Shunsui had succeeded in getting the over worked woman out of her office. At least for a while.
