Rain fell on the Phantomhive grounds as Sebastian closed the door to the main house. Today was one of the few days Sebastian got off and he refused to be at the mansion. He just wanted to relax and forget any troublesome matters that happened in the previous weeks. He walked down the dirt road leading away from the home of his master Ciel Phantomhive and toward an unknown place. His black hair dripped wet with the rain that poured down over him. The tails of his brown trench coat lifted in the blustering wind. He wandered about the streets looking at everything and everyone he passed. The world he had known only a hundred years ago had changed to that of a more industrialized sanctum. He turned a corner into a bleak little alley. Footsteps echoed behind him and he quickly turned to face his pursuer. "Sebby!" He heard a familiar voice call out and he sighed.
"Grell." He spoke candidly. He turned to completely face the other male his red eyes seeming bored.
Grell looked at Sebastian and began to pout, "Why do you always have to act so heartless Sebby!" His red hair fell into his face as he folded his arms. Sebastian shook his head.
"I am a demon." He spoke flatly, his black hair lifted in a slight breeze that had started. The rain began to falter to a slight drizzle as they stood there looking at each other. Grell looked at Sebastian and smiled. He ran at the butler attempting to knock him off his feet in a hug. Sebastian however, jumped into the air leaving Grell to hit his face on the ground. Grell stood quickly looking at Sebastian as he landed on a roof top.
"If I can catch you I get a kiss!" Grell yelled up to him.
Sebastian smirked, "All right it's a bet." He lept over the alley way where Grell was standing. Grell quickly took to chasing him, calculating his every movement. As Sebastian lept roof to roof Grell followed on the ground knowing that he wouldn't be able to catch him if they were on this same level. Grell watched Sebastian rise into the air and land nimbly on the next roof top like a cat pouncing on a mouse. He seemed to glide through the air. When the sun started peeking through the clouds Sebastian stopped suddenly. He tilted his head back and looked up as the gray clouds fell away revealing the bright blue of the mid afternoon sky. Grell stood staring at Sebastian the way he sun hit him was glorious. He shook his head seeing this as his chance. He lept at Sebastian for once pinning him to the ground. Sebastian blinked in surprise as he looked at Grell.
"I win." Grell said, giggling he leaned down toward Sebastian. Sebastian surprisingly made no attempts to struggle free. Sebastian had made the deal so he intended to keep it. Grell's lips were only inches from Sebastian's when Sebastian noticed that the sun he had seen was not the mid afternoon sun but the early evening sun just about to set. Grell's lips met Sebastian's just as the sun drifted below the horizon. When Grell parted from Sebastian he squealed with happiness. "That was great!" He spoke, blushing he looked to where Sebastian had been. He blinked surprised to see Sebastian had disappeared. "S-sebby?" He called out. He had no way of knowing that Sebastian was far from there already on his way back to the mansion. His day off was over as soon as he entered that mansion.
