-Misaki, do you love me?

-W-what's with the sudden question?

-Nothing. Well, do you?

-Y-yeah.

-Say it then.

-I just did!

-No, say the full sentence.

-...

-Well?

-Okay.

-Wait, Saruhiko! Where are you going? Hey!

-...

-Saruhiko! Okay, okay! I love you Saruhiko!

-Thank you, Misaki!

-Hey, you've been recording the whole time? Delete that right now! He-

Saruhiko jerked awake and sat up immediately. As he rubbed his head that he had hit in the wall he heard the voice he wanted to hear the least.

-Did I scare you my little Monkey?

-What do you want? - Saruhiko asked as he stood up from his bed.

-Be a little bit more respectful to your father, will you?-said Fushimi Niki with his usual mocking grin.

-Why are you here?

-This is my home too, you know.

-Yeah, right. - Saruhiko snickered.

-I see you really don't respect me. - Niki said with a suspiciously wide grin - Maybe it would make you a bit more respectful to know that I have this!

Niki raised his hand in which he held Saruhiko's recorder.

-Give that back to me right now!-Saruhiko shouted barely being able to contain himself from lunging at his father.

-Ask a bit more nicely. Like… I don't know… Please give it back to me daddy.

Saruhiko couldn't even look at his father's face as he answered:

-Give it back!

-Alright! - said Niki as he pushed a few buttons on the recorder. Saruhiko watched like he was in a shock as the last button had been pushed and a message appeared on the screen: The recording has been deleted. Still paralyzed he could barely catch the recorder that his father threw towards him as he walked out of the room, laughing all the way. Saruhiko didn't know how much time had passed, the next thing he knew was that he was on his knees, tears were streaming down his face and he felt completely empty. For some reason he felt like would never see Misaki again, at least not in the same way.

Beep-beep; beep-beep…

Saruhiko reached out to silence the damned alarm and he opened his eyes slowly. He saw the plain white ceiling of the Scepter 4 dorms but his sight was blurred and his eyes were stinging. He draped his arm over his eyes, he felt tiny drops of water. Why did those memories have to appear again? Saruhiko wiped away those pathetic tears and forced himself to get up. He will have Misaki again all for himself. Misaki will only look at him, no one else. That mocking laughter echoed in his head over and over, tainting his heart more and more.
