A/N: Oh, dear... This is one of two Persona 3 Valentine's Day fics I did. They're both pretty short, and the characters are a bit AU, but they're just meant to be fluffy stuff to make ya feel all warm an fuzzy. I should warn ya, though, that the pairing in this is Junpei/Minato... Although it doesn't go in-depth with it at all, so I figured I didn't have to put a warning on it. Anyway! I hope you enjoy... Junpei simply couldn't believe his luck. It was Valentine's Day, the most romantic day of the year, and he didn't have a date! Of course, he had a feeling he knew why. Sure, all the chicks around him were nice to look at (especially Chidori!), but the only person he really wanted to be with today was Minato-kun. Jesus, he sure had changed a lot since that blue-haired boy had entered his life.

"Junpei-kun," said boy's gentle voice reaches his ears.

"Oh!" the baseball cap wearing teen jumps a little, but grins at his friend nonetheless. "Minato-kun! Don't tell me you're dateless, too? All the chicks at school are begging for you to take them out!"

The smaller teen shrugs his shoulders. "I'm not interested in them," the look Minato gives his friend then almost seems imploring; Junpei just wishes he knew with it meant!

"That's too bad! Maybe I can try and catch your slack, huh?" he gives a fake little laugh.

"Yeah…maybe," the smaller male seems a bit disappointed in his friend's answer. "I think I'm going to go study or something. I'll see you later, okay?"

"Don't go," Junpei catches his friend's arm; he couldn't let this opportunity slip through his fingers! It'd be a crime to lose this chance!

"What do you mean?" his tones are as detached as usual; he couldn't let himself get his hopes up.

"I, uh… I was wondering…"

"Yes?"

"I was wondering if you'd, uh…"

"If I'd what, Junpei-kun?"

"I was wondering if you'd like to, uh…go out with me today…?"

"Oh!" Minato actually blushes at the question. "W-well…-"

"I mean, I can understand if you don't want to, or whatever, but I figure since both of us are free on Valentine's Day I should ask, ya know?" he hopes that little addition saved him from sounding too desperate.

"I see…" Minato's expression falls back into its usual cold stare. "If that's the only reason, I think I'd rather stu-"

"It's not."

"H-huh…?"

"It's not the only reason I asked, I just… I-I dunno, dude, I just figured if I told you I really wanted to take you out specifically because it's Valentine's Day, you'd laugh at me and tell me no…" Junpei stares down at his shoes, scratching the back of his head.

Minato cracks one of his rare smiles. "In that case, Junpei-kun…" he continues to smile "I have no choice but to say yes. I'd…really like to go out with you, too…"

Junpei grins at his friend. "Really? That's awesome!" and he grabs hold of Minato-kun's hand; tugging him out of the Dorm. When they finally return, they're both worn out but very happy.

"I'm…glad you asked me to go out with you tonight, Junpei-kun. I…had a really nice time," the blue-haired boy smiles yet again, making Junpei feel like he'd won the lottery.

"I'm glad I did, too, dude; so, uh…" he shifts a little. "I was sort of wondering if you'd, ya know…wanna officially go out with me…?" he trails off at the end of the question; feeling stupid. No way would someone like Ryota actually wanna go out with someone as useless as him…

"Of course!" the excitement in Minato's voice is unmistakable. "Why wouldn't I?" he throws his arms around Junpei and hugs him tightly.

The taller teen grins at his newly acquired boyfriend and presses a soft kiss to his lips. Today had been a fantastic day! Probably the best Valentine's Day he'd ever had in his whole life! And the best part about it was that he'd have days like this all the time from now on.
