It was the first anniversary of the Battle of Hogwarts. Many war veterans were asked to speak. Seamus had always hated speaking in public but as they called his name, he stood to go honor the fallen. As he mounted the stage, fear swept over Seamus, so he just started talking. He grabbed the mic and just began to tell them parts of his story. He finally got it off his chest.

"I remember seeing friends and family fall," he began.

"I have saw horrible things in this war we celebrate the end of today, but it's the little things that stick with me. It's things like not believing Harry, that leave me questioning things." Seamus began sobbing into the microphone.

Someone came onto the stage to lead him away. Seamus didn't know who it was but he was soon handed off to Lavender. He stumbled against her. She held him tight and shushed and cooed him.

Seamus was finally able to calm himself. "I wasn't scared anymore, Lav. "

"That's good." she said, assuring.

"I was sad, so sad." he continued, shaking his head.

"Hey," she said. "We're on the other side of things now. It's going to be okay."

"We're on the other side?" he asked.

She nodded, "Way over there."
