Twas the night before Christmas, and all through the house
Not an angel was stirring, or candy bar left out.
Phoenix had hung up her stocking with care, in the hope Jazpar wouldn't eat the chocolate placed in there.
Gabriel was trying to sneak into Sarah's bed, but so far, his luck was dead
Visions of My Little Pony pranced inside Phoenixes head
But then, outside, there came a clatter, and the Nephilims leapt up to see what was the matter.
From their windows, moon on the snow
They saw their father, hanging upside down on the fairy lights below
He looked up, and said with a grin.
'Hey y'all, Santa's been!'
When the drama was over, and they were all tucked back up in bed
Chocolate milk was sloshing around inside Lyra's head
Down the stairs, this Nephil did tread
To be faced with feet, dangling from under the chimney breast
Then her fathers voice just said.
'Lyra I'm stuck! Why did I eat candy before bed?'
