Author's Notes: After ordering the season one tapes of I-Man and then sitting down and watching 15 glorious hours of the show, I decided that Arnaud thinks of himself as sorely misunderstood. So, I got bored, and wrote this little piece of drabble (a fic that's about 100 words or so). I was thinking of making it an opening to a story showing Arnie's past, and what made him the psychopathic little bastard we all know and love... but I dunno. If you'd like me to keep going and write something like that, review the fic and tell me so. But if not, just enjoy this - a fic that's shorter than my author's notes.

I believe somewhere it says that murders are born not made, and a little less than two decades ago, I would have believed that little piece of popular wisdom. But, being a murderer myself many times over has changed my perspective somewhat, and I've come to a simple conclusion. Common murderers who would slit their mother's throats for a grand are born but the greats, such as myself, are created. And the very society who would see us locked behind bars like animals are our surrogate parents. Though, I don't hate them for wanting to see those born to chaos like I am locked away. After all, society fears what they don't understand, right? And I doubt they understand the difference between the art that is the way I do what I do, and your common hit man.
A pity, I fear.
