Naivety, Lost
Ginny thought everything would get better after Voldemort died. Harry would be home and by her side, her family would be around and together, and life could get back to normal. No more fear, no more torture, no more death.
It was nothing like she expected.
Fred was gone.
George was as good as gone with him.
Ron was wrapped up in his grief and Hermione.
Harry was... struggling.
Lying on her back in bed, staring blankly at the ceiling, Ginny cried. She cried for her family. She cried for Harry. Mostly, she cried for the naivety she'd lost when Voldemort died.
Now she understood. Life wasn't better or worse. It just was.
