The thought of waiting in line at a bank wasn't the most exciting thing to have crossed my mind. Just get in, retrieve some cash, get out. Simple right? Yeah, simple. I was just some nobody here with every other Mary and Joe trying to cash their paycheck before closing. At least, that was how it should have gone.

"Nobody Move! This is a robbery!"

But I never said I lived where things went the way they should. There was three of them, all clad in that same ridiculous get up every robber ever wore. A mask, consisting of either a balaclava or panty hose along with some practical clothes you could get at any local store.

Getting to the floor, I complied along with everyone present to the demands of my captors. The time to act hadn't come yet and I didn't mind letting these three enjoy some of their "success" a little longer. Hooting and hollering, I could hear them gloating like no tomorrow about how this was their "big score." Just a little longer, the anticipation was starting to get to me.

"Oh man! imagine the life were gonna live after this boss!"

Each of them was armed heavily, which I found commendable considering if and when the law enforcement units did arrive, they would be in for more then they bargained for. The time to act, was now, all I needed was a little leverage.

"Hey asshole! Do you even know what your doing?"

I wasn't in the mood really to talk, but these three mongols wouldn't take much to set off. The shortest one, obviously the leader of this "pack" approached me with intense menacing vigor in his eyes. I knew he meant business the moment he cracked me across the face with the butt of his gun. It was all I needed.

Moving swiftly, I latched onto his weapon and connected my fist square into the side of his jaw. He dropped like a bag of bricks. One down, two to go. However, the other two goons knew I was coming and with anger clearly clouding their vision, they levelled their rifles and opened fire. Fortunately, the bullets didn't reach me.

To their own horror, I vaporized the projectiles with something none would think possible. With a quick flick of the wrist I revealed proudly, my lightsaber. A weapon, that many on this planet found only in fiction. Wasting none of the time I gained with the "Shock and awe" approach, I reached out through the force and smirked as the primitive weapons dissolve into ash before their very eyes.

"w-what? Are you?"

Casually, I walked up to them. Waving my hand to no one in particular, as they and every witness fell asleep, before restraining the three criminals and giving an answer on my way out.

"I am a Jedi."

Sadly, I never got to cash my check that day.
