This is the sequel to A Sweet Meet
They'd been talking for hours maybe even longer than that, but it didn't matter to either of them.
The sun was setting and there were shadows dancing all around them as they walked toward the Pokémon center.
"So where are you staying Drew?" May asked as she turned to him.
"I'm staying at home with my brothers and sisters." Drew said softly, smiling at the beloved memory of his family, well some of it anyways.
"Your hometown is LaRousse City?" May asked ruining the moment.
"May, you know that." Drew said smirking.
May sweat dropped, "Oh yeah…"
Drew chuckled thinking, 'Same old May.'
He flicked his hair and May smiled softly turning away thinking, 'Same old Drew.'
"Well I'm staying at the Pokémon Center." May said breaking the silence.
"No really?" Drew started sarcastically, "I thought we were just going toward the Pokémon Center for fun."
May glared, "Well sorry! I wasn't watching carefully enough!"
Drew smirked turning away thinking, 'She looks so cute when she's mad… Wait! What am I saying????'
'Someone lurves May! Someone's in lurve!'
'What? Who are you?'
'The part of your mind that tells you that, you lurve May!!!'
'Whatever.' Drew flicked his hair as he said this arrogantly.
May who'd been watching him asked, "Why'd you just flick your hair for no reason."
Drew quirked an eyebrow thinking quickly, "Why are you watching me?"
May blushed before glaring, "I wasn't watching, I was simply… I was simply… I was simply…"
"Speechless with me aren't you?" Drew asked his smirk back.
"Arrogant for a guy who just flicked his hair for no reason," May said making up a strange comeback.
"Still making comebacks when you were staring aren't you?" Drew asked.
They kept at this until they were at the Pokémon Center.
"Here's the Pokémon Center." Drew said stopping the comeback fight.
"So I'll see you around?" May asked hope filling her eyes.
Drew didn't dare look into her eyes, "No actually I'm leaving tomorrow."
May's hopes shattered, "Oh…"
"Maybe we'll be able to see each other on our trips." Drew said trying to bring the joy back to her face.
"Maybe…" May said sadly.
She turned to walk into the Pokémon center and Drew grabbed her wrist and spun her around.
"Drew, what—" May started then felt someone's warm lips on hers.
After what seemed like ages he pulled back and Drew threw a rose at her.
May caught it and Drew said, "For you to remember me."
Then he left making her wonder when she'd see him again and whether they'd both remember that kiss…
