Remus stormed down the dusty stairs of Grimmauld Place and out the door. Sirius followed close behind, tucking himself back into his pants as he went.

"Moony! Moony! Wait!" he called.

Remus whipped around. "Wait? Wait for what? For you to explain everything to me, to tell me you didn't mean it, and that you still love me? No, I'm done listening to you."

"He- I- well…"

"Why do you always do this? First with James, now him? Goddammit Sirius!" Remus didn't seem to notice that he was crying, until his voice cracked over Sirius's name.

"Moony, I-I love you. I'm so sorry," Sirius whispered.

Remus snorted. "No you're not."

"But Moony, I am. I promise."

Remus paused, as if considering something. Sirius felt his heart lift.

"I want to believe you, I do. But I can't. I can't, Pads, don't you see?"

"See what?"

"I trusted you, after the first time. Now, I don't think I can."

Sirius moved closer to Remus, extending his arms. Remus shoved him away.

"Get the hell away from me! He's your bloody godson! Don't you see how wrong that is?"

"Moony, it didn't mean anything."

"That's not what he thinks. He thinks you're in love with him. He doesn't know about us because you wanted to keep our relationship a secret."

Sirius wrapped his arms around himself. "I'm so lonely Moony, I needed someone, and you were gone."

"Sirius, I was on a mission for the Order! I was trying to bloody protect you!"

"I know, but… I… I'm so sorry Remus."

"I know."

Sirius's eyes widened. "Do you forgive me?"

"I never said that."

"Please Moony. Please."

Remus sighed and ran a hand through his hair. He hadn't even had time to shower after getting back from the mission, werewolf recruitment, the usual. He had wanted to see Sirius the moment he got inside. Now he couldn't bear to look at him.

"I can't do this any more Sirius, I really can't."

"I won't do it ever again, Moony."

"Yes you will. You just won't do it to me again. Goodbye, Sirius."

"No, Moony, wait!" Sirius lunged at Remus as he turned to go inside.

"Get off of me!" Remus shrieked.

"No! Moony, I love you, I love you, I love you! Please don't leave me!"

"You just had your cock down your godson's throat, and you're going to tell me that? Get the fuck off me, and leave me alone! I'm done with you!" Remus yelled. He extracted himself from Sirius's clutches and turned to go inside.

"Moony, where are you going?"

"Don't call me that. I'm going to pack my things."

"Moon- Remus, please don't leave."

Remus ignored him, and picked up the suitcase, still packed from his mission. He seemed to hesitate walking out of the door. His eyes and voice were watery as he turned around and said, "Goodbye Padfoot."

Author's Note- I'm not quite sure where this one came from. SiriusxRemus is one of my OTPs, and I guess I wanted to write something angsty. I almost started crying while writing this, so... mission accomplished?
