Chapter 1:

"Whats the matter?" Jace says for the millionth time while we're in the car.

"Nothing why do you keep pushing this?" I say. "Cause everything's happened so fast." & holds my hand. Jace & I aren't dating though just the occasional hookups while his parents aren't home. They aren't home A LOT though.

We're on our way to California since Jace's friend called us this morning and told us to come up for the summer. I wasn't excited to see his friend though he was stuck up and rich. Jace always seemed to be a different person around him. My only priority was to see my brother Adrian, well half brother. My dad had a kid in high school, once it was born the mom took the baby and left. I never knew about him until I was 17 and he knocked on my door. He came looking for my dad but my dad passed away and instead found me. I went up to his place on holidays after that but now everything's different since I'm gonna be living there all summer.

I didn't notice that I was staring at Jace until he tugged on my hair. "Sorry I was in a daze but I agree everything has been going on so fast. The only thing I'm worried about right now though is what my brother's gonna say to you this time." I smirked, all I remember for me was complete embarrassment. Me and Jace were on my bed making out when my brother decided to come into the room at the exact moment my shirt was being pulled off. I was forced to leave the room while Adrian and Jace had a "talk". "What did he say to you last time?" I asked, my mind was coming up with all these different scenarios. "He said that if I ever touched you again he would personally kill me limb by limb then gave me a condom, Not that I didn't have any." he winked and leaned over to kiss me. I couldn't help but smile, Adrian sure was something.

"Hotel?" I said. we still had to drive for three hours & it was getting pretty dark. "Sure thing. Why? You want some of the J-man." I laughed so hard. "J-man, seriously? why must you be such a loser." Before he could say anything we drove into the Hotels parking lot.

(Line Break)

We were finally settled in & while flipping through channels I realized this was the first time Jace and I were in a Hotel together. This could get really interesting.

Somewhere between me thinking about Jace and watching late night talk shows I fell asleep. "Wake up gorgeous." I heard Jace say. "Leave." I grunted, more to my pillow than him. "It's 11." I could hear him coming closer. "Come to bed." I found his arm and tugged on it. It felt like he took a shower since his arm was wet. "Look up." I did and I saw him in a towel, golden hair and all.

I got off the bed and kissed him. Jace deepened it and the next thing I knew my legs were wrapped around him and I was pinned into the wall. This was more normal than anything else in the world. He dropped me onto the bed and let go of me. He starting walking away, I trapped him with my legs." He smiled like a little boy caught with the cookie jar. He began moving his hands up my thigh and then ran away. "Tease!" I yelled.

I noticed something on the nightstand, a letter. Jace probably dropped it. Oh well, finders keepers.
