CIRCUS MONSTER
The monster gasped for air as she was commanded to sing for the audience as they cheered with hatred. Tears stung her face. "LOUDER!" the disgusting people screamed at her. "Maybe this will force her!" The ringmaster turned and said, her teal hair was flowing with her movements. A cage opened up and two lions came out. Smelling their prey, they lunged at the girl. "We haven't fed these lions in days. They are famished." The tealnette said with a smirk. "No!" the girl screamed as she pleaded for her life. She started singing with a hoarse voice. Her song was filled with misery. She despised them all. She stopped in the middle of her song. Being mauled she didn't really care anymore. The pain surged throughout her body. "Why is he gone? What happened to you" she screamed as the people stared at her. And all the memories started flooding back.
LUKA P.O.V.
I laughed when i sw the twin lion's tricks. They were adorable! I felt happy here. My mom died in child birth and my dad blamed me, thinking my horns caused it. My mother's friend had taken me in, but I was sent to this circus. My mom's friend's husband didn't want a monster, as he called me, around with a new child on the way. But my ringmaster loves me! I call her Mom. Right now I'm 18. Mom said when I turn 18, she would get me out of here. Then I can live like a normal woman. I'm supposed to go to college now. When my best friend left, the only other person here with horns, I didn't perform for a while. Of course the person who owns this circus got really mad at Mom for letting me not perform. The people loved me and the twin lions to perform together. But there was one thought flowing in my mind during the time, that I loved him. His purple hair like a samurai, the kind that Mom read us in the books as children. I look up at Mother and she smiled at me. "I'm going to get you out soon. I promise." Her smile faded after hearing a truck park and men getting out and shouting. "Luka...I'm sorry. The lions are going to be put in zoo. I tried to hold my tears back. I was happy for them but I would miss them too. I went down to where they were playing. Their golden fur was getting long and would needed to be cut. They both went up to me as if instinct. Rin, the female nuzzled my leg. I petted them and hugged them. And I started to cry. I couldn't help it! They were like my younger sister and brother. The days had passed since the twin lions left. "Today is the day I'm going to get you out. You and I will not bei n this horrid place anymore. I'll be back soon." Mom said and left again. In the meantime i practiced my songs. Like the lions, the days passed. I then knew she would not come back. A week after Mom left another woman gave. Slimmer, and younger woman. She was a little bit other than I was. I saw the way she looked at me. With immediate disgust and hate. Then it came. When the performances came, my clothes were old and crusted with blood. New lions came in, not even like the young ones I was used to. It was torture and I couldn't escape it. That night when I stopped caring. It was the day she came back. And he did too. My lions, my friend, and my mother. When they showed everything went dark...
Authors Note: My first fanfiction here! I hope you all like it and I'm sorry that it's short. I promise I will try and improve on length. Yes Luka dies and I know it's not proven in the song, but come on she was being mauled by lions. I wrote this in my notebook during boring school and part of the end is from my mind and stuff so yay :D. One more thing... KNIVES ARE A GIRLS BEST FRIEND :3
