Adoption Agency
Regina suddenly wakes up in a familiar office, at first she tries to focus then sees the familiar adoption agent who stares at her.
"Miss Mills, are you alright."
Finally, Regina remembers this exact day, the day she adopted Henry which means the angel of destiny did indeed reset the timeline. "Oh, I'm sorry just feeling a bit overwhelmed that's all." Regina said as she smiles.
The adoption agent nods. "Of course, it's normal for first time mothers' so would you like to meet your son."
Regina stares at him with a huge smile. "Yes!"
As the adoption agent hits a call button on his phone, Regina looks out the door to see a woman carrying Henry who is sound asleep.
Regina gently takes him from the woman then cradles him in her arms meanwhile Henry gives out a big yawn then he snuggles against her chest which surprises her since the last time around he started to fuss because of the negative energy he felt towards her.
"Have you picked out a name for him?" The adoption agency said then notices Regina is not paying attention. "Miss Mills?"
"Henry, Henry Daniel Mills." Regina answered as she stares at Henry not wanting to lay eyes off of him.
Mills Residence
Later, Regina enters while carrying a sleeping Henry in her arms she then heads to the living area and slowly sits on the couch.
For a moment Regina watches Henry who slowly opens his eyes and stares at her. "Hey, buddy I know this is going to sound crazy and since you can't understand right now...I'm just going to tell you. Mommy is from another timeline where I already had raised you then I had to share you with Emma who is your birth mother which you will meet her later when you are older...Hopefully, I'll be the one to get her so you won't have to run away like last time." As Regina thinks for a moment, Henry stretches in her and starts to fall asleep again. "You know I don't blame you for wanting to run away I wasn't a great mother at the time even though you had forgiven me I still felt the regret of what I put you through... I hated myself for that." Regina starts to feel emotional with tears forming in her eyes as she remembers neglecting Henry, lying to him, making him feel like he was crazy then nearly killing him. Suddenly Henry starts to cry. "Oh, I'm sorry baby boy." She gently lays him on her shoulder and starts to soothe him which quickly calms him down. "Things are going be better this time I promise... I'm going to be the best mother you deserve, I will give you a better childhood, I will tell you stories of the Enchanted Forest and I will do everything in my power to protect you from Peter Pan, Zelena, Rumple, Gothel anyone who dares to come near my little prince will face my wrath." Henry makes a sound but continues to sleep as his head is snuggled comfortably near Regina's neck.
