"What happened?" Deo Mi asked curiously, leaning over the back of her chair to stare at her friend's tooth-imprinted hand.

"Wha?" Su Ah's head shot up from her desk. Despite already drawing attention to herself for being late to her math class, she hadn't expected to be spoken to, though she supposed the fact that it was Deo Mi, out of all people, would be reason enough for her to respond.

"Oh, this?" she asked, pointing to the bite-mark she'd received from Byung Hee not a few minutes earlier, and smiling to herself at the memory.

Deo Mi's brows furrowed, and she nodded furiously.

"Yes!" she all but yelled, causing a few students' heads to turn in response.

Su Ah barely suppressed a giggle as she raised a finger to her mouth to shush her friend.

"Shh..." her cheeks blushed scarlet. "You have to promise not to tell anyone, okay?" she whispered, receiving yet another furious nod from Deo Mi.

"Yes, I promise! You have my word!" she whispered back enthusiastically.

"Well..." Su Ah began quietly. "Byung Hee-"

Deo Mi was quick to cut her off.

"Byung Hee?!" she exclaimed, clasping a hand over her mouth not a second later to suppress the sound.

"Shh!" Su Ah's eyes widened considerably. "You can't tell anyone!"

"Oh, sorry..." Deo Mi apologized lamely.

"Did he bite you?" she asked, taking her friend's hand and looking it over.

"Yeah..." Su Ah sighed dreamily, propping her elbow up on her desk, and resting her chin on her fist.

"Wha?" Deo Mi scoffed, raising her eyebrows. "Why are you looking like that? Shouldn't you be mad?"

"He called it a 'brand'," she explained, as if it were the most normal thing in the world and not some bizarre way of showing affection. "and said that I was his, and his only,"

A wide grin spread across Deo Mi's face.

"Ah, you're joking aren't you?" She gave her friend a playful nudge.

Su Ah's eyes widened in confusion.

"Eh?"

"I knew you could only be crazy for Seung Hoon! No way you'd be talking about those guys that transferred here!"

"Well-"

"I knew it!" she laughed triumphantly. "And don't you worry either, I won't tell Seung Hoon a thing! I'll let you tell him yourself. It'll be our little secret, okay?"

She looked at her friend expectantly, but Su Ah didn't reply.

She noticed that her eyes were not focused on her, but something behind her, and quickly followed her gaze to meet with that of their teacher's, who glared back at them with angry eyes.

Deo Mi gave a short, nervous chuckle as the teacher proceeded to scold them, and threaten to give penalty points, before ultimately deciding to let them off with a warning.

At a complete loss for words, Su Ah could manage to do nothing but nod before Deo Mi was instructed to turn around in her seat and face the chalk-board.

It wasn't until class had let out that Deo Mi finally found the courage to speak again.

"So what really happened to your hand?" she asked obliviously.

"Nothing," Su Ah muttered before abruptly leaving her seat, and exiting through the classroom door.

"Fine," Deo Mi called over her shoulder. "Don't tell me!" she huffed, crossing her arms and sinking down in her seat.

It wasn't until every student in the room had left that the stray thought had crossed her mind again.

"Eh, 'brandoo'?" she asked herself aloud.
