"If only I had a white horse, this would be the perfect moment."

Peter narrowed his eyes and stepped away. "What are you trying to say? Are you saying this isn't the perfect moment?"

Silence, filled every now and then with smacking noises.

A frustrated voice called from the other room, "I know what you're doing! I can hear the smacking!"

Peter and Sylar stepped away from each other, guilty looks in both of their eyes. They stood in the doorway, grinning at each other.

Silence, broken seconds later by the same voice yelling, "Okay, I prefer the smacking! At least I know what you're doing!"

The owner of the voice walked out of the room, wiping his glasses. He did this because you never know what you're going to walk in on and it's better if you can say, with almost total honesty, that you didn't see a thing. He replaced them and blinked at Peter and Sylar. He raised one eyebrow, slowly.

"Well? Are you coming in or not?" he said to a sheepish Sylar who immediately stepped inside and closed the door behind him.

All three stood in the entrance hall, listening to the increasingly uncomfortable silence.

"So, will you be staying for dinner, Sylar?" he asked, after it appeared that neither young man was about to say anything.

Sylar nodded and then glanced at Peter out of the corner of his eye. He grinned suggestively as if to say, "Why don't you and I...you know...before dinner, huh?" The man wondered at his incredibly loaded looks. It was a remarkable talent.

Peter grinned back just as suggestively and twined his fingers through his boyfriend's. Then he turned to the man, about to open his mouth and come up with some lame excuse.

The man had taken his glasses off and was cleaning them again. "Go, go, never mind me..." he said, as they raced upstairs. "I'll just be, you know, putting in those ear plugs I bought just for such an occasion..."

He went back into the lounge and sat back down. After a moment spent shuffling some papers he looked up into an amused blonde's eyes.

"Shut up," Giles said to Buffy.

Mwahaha. I'm sure you were all thinking, 'Ha, that's HRG,' right? Mwahaha.

I don't own Buffy the Vampire Slayer, either, if you really must know.

Review please.
