This was it. The Olympics. Of course, you know me. Katelin Kingsford? Part of the US Olympic Women's Figure Skating Team? Yeah, her.

I just finished my routine. Thank god, I nailed it. Possibly fifth place material; if I'm lucky. Despite the many, many hours of practice with Natasha, this was the Olympics. You have to be out-of-the-park amazing to even get placed.

I looked over to the front row, where my fellow Buckston Eagles were cheering me on. Yes, my ice hockey team came to support me in the "Twirl-Girl" section of Olympics. They claim to have only come for me (and the ice hockey-duh), but they seemed to enjoy the program… a lot. My eyes passed over all of their faces, but my heart stopped when I finally saw… him.

Spencer.

So, what; he didn't exactly like me when I first arrived. He called me 36. Uck. I have a name, and it's Katelin. At least he warmed up to me… eventually. He even helped me get to the Senior Nationals, which got me onto this team in the first place. He can be quite sweet. All that aside, I have quite the hopeless crush on him… not that he would ever know. Psh, he's like, three years older than me… and my assistant ice-hockey coach. Stupid emotions.

Amy yelling, "GO KATE-KAT!" snapped me out of my embarrassing little trance. I blushed, waving at her, Ronnie, and Mojo. They were cheering loudest of all… after Spencer, who was cheering so loud that I wanted to collapse in hysterical laughter at the unbelievably dirty looks he was getting from the people around him. (Of course he didn't notice, so that made it even funnier, if that was even possible.)

"AND NOW… FOR THE SCORING!" the announcer called and everyone dialed down. Spencer caught my eyes and winked at me and giving me a thumbs up. Amy gave me a knowing smile. Stupid roommates. They know everything

"FIFTH PLACE: JULIA MANCUSO."

She stepped up and waved from the podium. Maybe I could be fourth place, I hoped.

"FOURTH PLACE: SASHA COHEN."

Maybe not… I'm not going to score now…

"THIRD PLACE, AND BRONZE MEDALIST… KATELIN KINGSFORD!"

I was going to faint, going up to get my bronze medal.

After they announced the winners of 1st and 2nd place, we left the ice. The second, I got into my "dressing room" my fellow Eagles (and Spencer) hugged and congratulated me. I thought my face would freeze from smiling so much.

One second I'm hugging Spencer, the next, I felt a sudden weight on my back, and an unidentified presence on my lips. I could hear Amy laughing behind me as I tried to comprehend what the heck just happened. Then, it dawned on me.

I

Was

Kissing

SPENCER.

Ohmygodohmygodohmygodohmygodohmygodohmygodohmygodohmygod.

I'm totally calm. I probably look like a tomato right now. Wait? Why hasn't he pulled away yet?

Oh my god.

Finally, I disconnect myself from him. I try to regain my posture. I can't help but notice that Spencer blushes, too.

"AMMMMMYYYYY!" I yell suddenly, running after her as she bolted out of the room. As I chased her, however, I couldn't help but dawn on the fact that today, two new possibilities had been revealed to me.

1) A relationship with Spencer (YAY)

2) I'm going to have to win more often (if it means I get another kiss from Spencer…)

I may write a book on clichés, but ya can't call me a hypocrite. I am the first to publish a Fanfic for this movie...

Hope you liked!
