Chapter 1- The Lullaby
"RUE!" "RUE!" screamed Katniss, Rue made the noise that the Mockingjay would carry on to her, but Katniss was already sprinting towards Rue, Rue was looking for a place to hide, so that in the time that Katniss was searching for her she would have a place from all the remaining tributes. Katniss was running threw the thicket to where she last heard the Mockingjays sound, Katniss franticly turning left and right ended up in a little clearing in the middle of the woods. Rue cupped her hands around her mouth and made the signal again, Rue was so scared until she saw Katniss Rue burst out of the bushes, Katniss she said, little did Rue know there was someone behind her, there was a split second and then Rue felt it, the piercing pain of an arrow in the front of her, Katniss unsheathed and arrow and aimed right for hs chest, she knelt to the ground beside Rue and sang her a very sweet everlasting lullaby.
