It had been one thousand years since they had last been in this system. One thousand years and the system was just the same as when its princess, no Queen, had last been here. I've been Queen of a dead system, of a dead race for a millennia, the bubblegum haired woman though standing on the silvery orb that once served as home to her mother.
The years were beginning to catch up to them. Three thousand years after that fateful night that led her mother to her father….the ruins had not crumbled once, a testament to the power that flowed through her blood. POTE. Her green eyed companion turned to look at her, compassion, love and understanding shinning in his eyes.
One thousand years ago they destroyed her home. The place her parents had met, where her brother had raised his family. Veggie, Diana, Trunks, Hota….a single crystal tear escaped from her ruby orbs. The tear flashed, illuminating the destruction and emptiness around them. This time she wouldn't hide. Porcelain hands rose to encompass the crystal, her mother's crystal.
The power to destroy had been easy to accept. Power that came to her from her father's blood. The power to create, the serenity and calm passed to her from her mother, a gift the woman had spent her lives protecting….A power I haven't touched in a millennia.
A halo of silver flashed around her. A contrast to the golden one she had accepted. She recalled the surprise on her cousins face when they learned she was the Golden Destroyer. The acceptance when they realized she had come for them. That not even a previous host was safe.
She had heard their prayers. Prayers to the silver goddess who lived through her mother's line. Who now seeks to control me. Ruby and silver battled as the goddess made her presence known. SETTEI-POTE the blood in her veins roared, ACCIORA PUTO!
The queen gazed at her kingdom, desolate, barren, void of life and creation. The word made her blood burn and sing. A true testament to who she was. The child of light and dark, the host of both. Before her the cauldron appeared, light pouring out, love…..something her ch'ue gave her, all except her ja'ta.
"He showed it the best way he knew, amo-sai elegantem ko."
"Mataoya?" whispered the queen staring at the figure appearing before the cauldron.
"Hai-ita, ko." Sapphire met ruby as mother and child locked gazes. "Inmetsu, toet Settei….paetsū
Usagi, paetsū."
"R'en?" came his voice, my Amo-sai tsureai uxor.
"There is nothing left for you to destroy, all that is left is for you to accept the power of Cosmos, for you to create life. Usagi, I'm sorry this fell to you." Even in death my mother sought to bear my pain.
The cauldron beckoned as the golden haired woman dissolved in a shower of silver sparks. "Amo-sai, if we enter the cauldron, we can go back. We can do it all again. Our br'atu, our ch'ue, we can have them all."
Emerald met Silver and Ruby, the dual entities struggling for control. As Emerald shifted to Onyx, his hand reaching out for hers, the silver and ruby slowly faded to reveal sapphire. Their reign of destruction through, the man and woman, the last of their kinds walked hand and hand from what was left of the lunar fortress to the cauldron that presented them a future worth living for.
Thanks goes out to MegaKat, Saiyagin-Neko, and AnaFrost, who from this point forward I shall only refer to as the Teddy Bear Guild. The saiyan language is created by MegaKat, and the Lunarian language is up for reference.
