LUNCHTIME
It was a normal day in Central City. Birds flying about, flies swirling around the dumpsters, all peaceful. It was on this day that everyone's favorite hedgehogs decided to eat lunch outside.
"Hey guy's, what's up?" Sonic asked as he carried his bagged lunch to the table. He was always known to bring his own stuff.
"Nothing much, how 'bout you?" Amy asked as she sat down across from Sonic. She was carrying a blue lunch box with her, slung over her shoulder.
"Where'd ya' get the bag?" Shadow askes as he walked up to her. He had a square plastic container and with some chopsticks in one hand, and a canned drink in the other.
"Got it off TV. Part of a 'Lock-n-Lock' lunch set with containers. Good price, too." She got out her food, which was sandwich, and soda , and a bag of chips. "You know when Silver's showing up?"
"Right here!" Silver yelled as he ran towards the group. He was with Shadow when he went to the store, and he lost track of him while looking for something to drink.
The group got right into their lunches. Sonic had a couple chili dogs (big surprise…) and some water. Shadow bought some Sushi and some Minute Maid lemonade. Silver had sandwich, like Amy, but it was…different.
"Uh…'TEAM FORTRESS 2' fan much?" Amy asked while trying to hold in giggles.
"Yup. This is a sandvich." Silver did indeed have a sandvich from TEAM FORTRESS 2- a ham-and-bologna sandwich with cheese, lettuce and tomato, while Amy had chicken salad.
The group ate their lunch, chat about this and that, and ended up sharing some their lunch with each other.
"Don't worry about running out of drink, I got some." Silver then brought out a some tea and cups out of nowhere. After about an hour, the group had to part ways, but agreed to do this again another time. It was pleasant being able to talk with everyone without Eggman blowing things up around them.
