Thanksgiving Party
Fourteen year old Chloe Calls decided to talk to her grandparents about having a Thanksgiving party. The 21 year old turtles were currently practicing in the dojo.
Chloe went to her grandparents' bedroom and knocked on the door. After being let inside, the three of them sat on the bed.
"I was thinking we could have a Thanksgiving party for us and the turtles," Chloe said.
"Sounds like a great idea," Grandma Calls said.
"We'll help any way we can," Grandpa Calls said.
"I'll take care of the food," Grandma Calls offered.
"I'll handle the decorations," Grandpa Calls volunteered.
"I'll fill the turtles in on the plan for Thanksgiving," Chloe said.
Chloe and her grandparents spent several minutes planning the party. Eventually, Chloe thanked her grandparents and left the room.
Later, the turtles entered the living room after practice. They saw Chloe sitting on the sofa.
"Everything all right, Chloe?" Donny asked with concern.
"I was talking with my grandparents and we thought it would be a good idea to have a Thanksgiving party," Chloe explained while standing up.
"Who will be at this party?" Leo inquired.
"Just us and my grandparents," Chloe replied.
"What do we have to do?" Raph asked.
"My grandmother is taking care of the food and my grandfather is handling the decorations so all we have to do is show up for the party," Chloe replied.
"That gives a break on cooking Thanksgiving dinner this year," Mikey said.
"True," Chloe said.
"Would I still be able to help with the cooking?"
"As long as my grandmother is ok with it."
Mikey threw his arms around Chloe who returned the gesture. Then they released each other.
Chloe's grandparents were planning the party in their room when they heard a knock. They walked over to the door and ended up letting Mikey inside.
"Everything all right?" Grandma Calls asked.
"I wanted to know if I could help you with Thanksgiving dinner," Mikey replied.
"I'd love the help."
"Great."
"I'll start on planning the decorations so you two can talk," Grandpa Calls said, leaving the room and closing the door behind him.
Thanksgiving Day
The turtles, Chloe, and her grandparents were having Thanksgiving dinner buffet style. There was a table against the wall that had apple cider, turkey, stuffing, succotash, sweet potatoes, black olives, and pumpkin pie.
"This dinner looks amazing," Chloe said.
"It also tastes amazing," Mikey agreed and then ate some turkey.
"I had some wonderful help," Grandma Calls said with a smile.
"Same with me," Grandpa Calls said.
"I helped find the decorations," Raph said.
"I'm just thankful we have each other," Leo said.
"I couldn't agree more," Donny said.
The turtles, Chloe, and her grandparents continued eating and chatting. They cleaned up when they were done and then went about their own activities.
