Paper

Spider webs have trapped me now,

Spider webs that burn.

Like the scar upon his flaming back,

With him I twist and turn.

He bends me into what he wants,

What I can never be.

All I want is to forget the past,

And that woman haunting me.

If I disobey, he brings them back,

And then are gone, like vapor.

He tears, I rip, He moves, I slip,

All I am to him is paper.
