Okay, I know I should be working on my other story, but it's going to have to wait. I really can't get back into it. I may rewrite it, because it feels rushed right now. My YGO/HP will be finished and all that rot, I promise. Enjoy my one shot.

Leah sighed as she waited in the waiting room. Emily and Sam were in the delivery room, about to have little Aylen. Seth was to her left with his imprint, a boy named Cáel. It was a shocker when the boy had moved to Forks, and Seth had ran into him on the way to the Cullens, but after Nessie, they got used to accepting the weird. It made Leah realize that maybe there was hope for her yet. It just meant that her imprint could be a girl. That they didn't have to pass the gene down. That it was fate that chose who was turned.

"Leah, why are you so...quiet?"

"I feel anxious for some reason." Her brother nodded, looking at their mom, who was talking to their aunt. Leah sighed, standing to get something to drink. When she came back, Sam was standing holding a bundle of pink, and blue. Twin. I couldn't believe it.

"Leah, come meet Aylen and Alex." She did, feeling her chest tighten in anticipation. Leah saw brown eyes and froze.

Her world shifted as they locked gazes. She was beautiful with a full head of black hair. Her skin was as dark as mocha, but Leah loved her either way. Nothing else mattered. Just her, and her happiness. Leah would do anything to protect her.

"Leah?" Sam, recognizing the look stiffened before handing over his daughter.

"I guess now would be the time to say you're adopted?" Sue said, sighing. "Harry insisted we took you in, instead of your brother. He was fresh out of college when your parents died in a car crash. Harry and I were your godparents."

"But..." Leah smiled sadly, before hugging Aylen closer. "I don't care, you're still my family."

"Leah, I'm going to go explain to Emily, okay? I'll see you in a bit." With that, he took Alex back to the room. Leah sat down, cooing at her imprint.

It made sense, what Jacob felt, two years ago, when Nessie was born. Why he was so attached to Bella before. Leah only understood because she had gone through almost the same thing. Now they were with their imprints so it didn't matter how they got there. It didn't matter that this was the daughter of her ex-boyfriend or thought to be cousin. All that mattered was Aylen's feelings.

Life was going right for once.
