She looked radiant and yet Nino wasn't entirely sure that he could find the words to say that would convey just how simply stunning she looked. Dark blue lit up her eyes, made them come alive, sparkle, and sort of appear lighter and yet deeper too as if he could gaze into them forever.

Her dress hugged her frame, making curves that he wasn't sure he'd seen before shine. The dark blue dress hugged her hips and sides which somehow made her look even a little bit taller, and the top of the dress happened to be smooth bows or what were probably bows that weren't really tied in the front, just lines that went to the back and ended in a big bow that he only noticed when she spun around.

Her parents had always been the type of parents to take pictures of their daughter when she dressed up for a dance like this one, and yet Nino wasn't used to the pictures that he was pulled into. His dark button up and black slacks, only highlighted how blue her dress was and yet standing here awkwardly with his arm around her waist made him feel like ducking into a hiding place.

He could feel her heartbeat when she leaned closer to him and just seeing her smile melted whatever remained not entirely nervous in his heart. Nino could hardly believe that he'd managed to ask her to this dance that was going on, let alone the fact that she'd said, 'yes.'

Marinette looked so beautiful, and Nino wasn't sure that he'd ever find the words to tell her that much when his mouth was mostly dry and when he wasn't sure whether he was able to look at the camera and not at her during most of the pictures. Her huddling close didn't help him to look at the camera either, but when Sabine finally stopped taking pictures, they could start out for the dance.

"So how do I look?" Marinette peeked up at him with wide blue eyes, "I tried to design with you in mind since I didn't want to mismatch you when you shown up. I thought may be blue..." She sort of just trailed off as nerves finally caught up with her.

"You look..." Nino took a deep breath to steady himself against his nerves, "really beautiful."

When that was met with a really pretty blush and a smile, Nino was positive that what had remained of his heart had already melted into one big gooey pile. At least, he loved being by her side and didn't mind his heart melting when he was so happy.

He'd try to ask her for at least one dance though he wasn't really a talented dancer, and he'd hope that this wouldn't be their only date together. May be one day, he'll steel up the nerves to ask her out for real, to ask her to be his girlfriend.
