At first, life was wonderful and beautiful. The wolf captured its young prey long ago and refused to let it go. Not that the bird did not mind.
At first, "Onee-Sama" paid no attention to her, even finding her annoying. But overtime the bird received meager gifts.
Even then, Minto did not expect the gift she received at sixteen to arrive (in real life that was). The normally cold wolf warmed by the fire that night. Upon charming her little birdy with sweet words, and then a sweet kiss, the bird chirped her own song and gave her mistress a peck.
The wolf had a good meal that night. While she napped, digesting the meat, Minto realized something. If she finally had everything she treasured and desired, why did she feel so… incomplete?
