Summary: She searches the wreckage and hopes to the heavens he somehow has made it.

Author's Note: I was watching the movie and I adore Letty. And I have no way to describe how happy I was they brought her back. Michelle Rodriguez is an amazing actress. The emotion on her face as she looks for Dom to come from the plane/car crash inspired this. I hope you like it.

As she searched the fiery wreckage of the plane her heart was sinking in her chest. It was an unfamiliar feeling to her to put so much of her emotions into anything. But her eyes still searched the wreckage for him even though she knew that there was little hope that Dom had survived the crash.

Her mind was racing and she was numb.

She didn't know much about him or them. But he obviously knew her. What they had had, in her past that she wished she could recall, had to have been special. When she had finally talked to him about what he was doing hanging around, sticking his nose into something he didn't have to, and he had described the scars she had from injuries she had no idea about she had known that their relationship had been special.

It was that "once in a lifetime" kind of love. She could tell from the way that he looked at her and the way his touch had made goose-bumps erupt all over her body.

But she had been afraid of the feelings he was awakening in her so she had left him there that night. However, when Shaw had tried to kill her and Dom had thoughtlessly risked his life for hers she knew that the feelings she had for him were love.

She knew because something in her bones told her that she would do anything just as crazy in order to spare his life.

So now as she stared at the burning wreckage and her hope dwindled she mourned the love she had forgotten and now may never be reminded of by him.

She was just about to turn her head, too upset to look at the wreckage any longer, when he came walking out of the fire.

It was a moment that could not be put into words.

Letty jumped off the jeep immediately and began to stride toward him with determination in her step.

When she reached him he was scratched and bruised but he was otherwise intact, and her heart soared. She wrapped her arms around him and felt at peace for the first time since she awoke without a clue who the hell she was.

She didn't know much and she might not remember but she knew one thing.

Letty and Dom were meant to "Ride or Die" together.
