Once upon a time last Tuesday, there was this one chick called Erza Scarlet, and she was totes cool, like she has plus a million swords and could kick your head in in ten seconds if you crossed her. She lived in the Fairy Tail ladies dorm,and had a room chock full of armour, which she used to kick butt daily and smash things she shouldn't be smashing which resulted in snotty letters from the council to Master Makarov. So anyway, she was awesome, and one day she was in the guild hall eating a sandwich and contemplating which job she'd take next as she was short on money, having spent her last wage packet on gorging herself on Strawberry Cheesecake because she felt Self Loathing and Emo because she couldn't snog Jellal. "Oh Jellal, mmm kissy kissy" she thought to herself as she shoved the last of her cheese and ham sarnie down her gullet. She sighed, and took a mouthful of her lemonade, just before Natsu and Grey knocked it over in one of their scraps,causing her to jump up and get the pair of them in a painful headlock, which resulted in swearing and hasty apologising. "Don't do it again, you little d#uchenuggets" she growled as she returned to her seat. She sat down, and started to think intelligent brain thoughts, before she was interrupted by Mirajane, who had come over to collect her empty plate and glass. "That was uncharacteristically harsh of you, regarding Natsu and Grey" she remarked as she balanced the plate on top of the small pile she had in her hands. "I know" Erza replied, "I shouldn't be taking my feelings out on them like that. I'll go over and apologise to them later", she sighed.
"Alright then, but I'd wait for a bit because I just saw the two of them starting to argue over whether Barbara Streisand or Judi Dench is more terrifying than Beyonce's new album, and there ain't no way I'm getting involved, it looks messy"
"Right then, I'll leave it 'till later."
Erza padded over to the Job Board so she could see if there was anything good going. There was'nt much really, just a few escort missions here and there, and a shopping job in Hargeon. They she saw a pretty interesting one pinned in the corner behind one for Oak Town. It detailed taking down a dark guild called "The Thugnuggie Hardcore" a truly despicable guild which had committed such heinous acts such as punching pensioners and writing rude sweary words like "bum" or "poo" on the walls of public spaces and traumatising children for life. Truly they were the scum of the earth. The reward money wasn't bad either, it was enough to cover the rent, and there'd be some cash left over, so she could but a new sword or something if she wanted to. Satisfied with her selection, Erza went over to the bar with the job poster and handed it to Mirajane so she could jot down her details. "Right then" said Erza, "I'll be on my way then."
"Don't forget to apologise to Natsu and Gray!"
"I won't"
