Okay, time for my new story. I hope I don't offend anyone by using this title after all the trouble that happened before. I'm pretty sure you guys will like this story. So, this story should be good hopefully. Don't forget to review!
Danzo turned toward his desk and looked down at a file.
"Soon you all will get what's coming to you. It'll happen one way or another," he muttered as he set the file down.
A ROOT agent appeared in front of him and said, "Lord Danzo, the Hokage has determined that we are not to force young Itachi Uchiha to massacre his clan. How are we to proceed? Shall I summon him here to get the order anyway?"
Danzo thought for a moment, his hand unconsciously reaching across the desk for the file. Finally he replied "No, don't summon him. Itachi is already a spy with conflicted loyalties. Now that the Hokage has told him he doesn't have to hurt his kin, it's obvious that he would most likely refuse my orders and warn them I'm out to destroy the Uchiha. Instead, my loyal ROOT operatives will carry out a new set of orders concerning the Uchiha. Summon them, I must give the order."
With that, the ROOT agent left to gather the others. Danzo looked down on the wooden desk at the file he had been examining. It was a report on all of the members of the Uchiha Clan. He gathered the file in his arms and left to go to the underground ROOT headquarters.
All of the ROOT agents who were capable enough for dangerous missions ahead been gathered together on the dimly lit cave that passed as the meeting place. Danzo entered and went up to a smooth, flat rock above his forces.
"Today we remove a stain that lies upon this village," he addressed them. "Today, we will annihilate the Uchiha Clan!"
Itachi walked out of the Hokage tower and headed home. It hadn't come to what he had feared. He could have both his family and his village. It was a relief to him. Itachi sighed and decided to stop at a toy shop to get something for Sasuke.
He walked up to a store and went inside. Itachi began to rummage amoung the shelves, hoping to see something that Sasuke might like. In the back of the shop was a wall of stuffed animals. Itachi saw a black cat that he was certain Sasuke would like. He picked it up and walked up to the counter to pay for it, grabbing a mancala set as he passed. Itachi paid for both of them and hurried home, hopeful that everything would be alright from now on.
He turned around a corner and entered the Uchiha compound. Suddenly, Itachi noticed that a strange gas was entering the houses and streets. He shouted a warning, hoping his kin would hear him and escape. Itachi ran through the streets toward his home. He burst into the house to find his parents unconscious on the wood floor. He ran into Sasuke's room to find his little brother in the corner panicking.
"Itachi! What's happening to everyone?" He stammered.
"I don't know, just take my hand. We have to get out of here." Itachi fought to keep for his brother's sake. He knew that he had to get Sasuke out of there, and fast.
The two of them ran out of the house and into the night, with only the clothes on their backs, Itachi's ninja gear, a stuffed cat, and a mandala set. Behind them, ROOT agents swooped down and collected the unconscious Uchiha while Danzo looked on with a sadistic grin.
So, Itachi and Sasuke have run away and Danzo has the Uchiha in his hands. As for what happens, that's for me to know and you to find out. Feel free to guess what Danzo will do with the Uchiha and what Sasuke and Itachi will do. I doubt any of you will get close.
