AN: This little drabble was inspired by a photo that I found online. Enjoy.
Beautiful.
There was no other way to describe the way she looked in her white wedding gown. A crown of flowers adorning her head as her long black hair fell freely over her shoulders, her simple, flower decorated dress eloquent and smooth. The girl could pass for an angel. (And that was before listing all her other good qualities)
The wedding hall was of course packed. Marinette was well liked, her kindness and generosity earning her admiration and friends alike. Most of their old classmates were there and of course her parents. Even her uncle Cheng had come over from China for this event and in the background Nino could be seen holding a camera for those who couldn't make it.
The sound of music played through the hall and the happy couple walked down the central aisle. Marinette's face betrayed her nerves, but unlike her time as Ladybug, this one was more nuanced. Not a fear of death or losing someone important, but rather, the more normal fears of a bride on her wedding. A comforting hand made her look up into her fiancés eyes and her worry vanished. She had been looking forward to this as much as her fiancé had.
Vows were exchanged and after what had seemed like an agonising eternity, the minister said the words.
"You may kiss the bride."
The happy couple leaned forward and kissed with a smile.
"I love you Marinette Dupain-Cheng."
"I love you too, Juleka," Marinette replied and the happy couple walked to the door, and in hand.
AN: Not exactly the usual pairing for these characters, I thought I'd have a bit of fun with them.
