A/N-It was a quick thing I came up with tonight. I found that I rather liked Stacy...so I did a quick oneshot on how House felt after Stacy left. I like doing these...don't ask.
Gregory House hated emotions.
He banned them all he could. At least the deep running ones.
Stacy was gone. He let her go. He could've had her again-for life. House knew he was going to regret it in no time at all. He had done what he felt was best, and that was to let her go. But why?
He wanted her to be happy. However, he was beginning to think that it caused her more trouble. No. That was his own banned emotions getting in the way. Again.
He loved her dammit! He wanted to be with her. Forever. Till death.
But look what happened last time. He didn't want her hurt. Not again. He would rather hurt.
So life must go on...without Stacy.
Maybe she'll remarry, and her husband will be deathly sick and she'll come running to him.
Gregory House hated having high hopes.
