Arriving at the estate at exactly noon, as punctuality was one of his strong points was a very odd Pokémon. Standing on its hind-legs stood a meerkat-like Pokémon. Reddish brown with yellow stripes, with a tail consisting of mainly the same colors with the exception of a white tail, it stood with its arms crossed. Exuding an air of professionalism, the Watchog gazed upon the spacious and luxurious mansion.

The Watchog walked the path leading to the large double doors of the manor, with the keys and letter addressed to him from his employer in hand. He wasn't quite sure what to expect of the job, but the pay was well and he wouldn't mind the extra money he'd earn from the job.

If only he'd knew what he was getting into beforehand, the Watchog would of never accepted the job. If Watchog had known what the next few weeks of terror entailed of, of the lives that would be lost at the hands of his employer, he would of turned the other way and never taken up the job.

Alas, he hadn't a single clue of the murders that would happen throughout the time spent at the manor, a manor we shall call Rue Manor for nostalgia. As Watchog opened the doors to the Rue Manor he was met by the two maids that he was informed would be helping him during the rest of his employment at the Rue Manor.

"Are you the Watchog that was employed to watch over the estate?" Irene, one of the maids asked.

"That I am, and I'm to assume you're one of two maids I was informed of by my employer?" Watchog implied politely.

Irene nodded and gestured to her companion, who was also a Kirlia. "Why yes I am, and this is my fellow maid Rosalina."

"It's nice to meet you both, my name is Wallace. I was told you'd have further details as to what this job entails from my employer?" Wallace would look at the two expectantly.

Without saying a word, Irene would take a letter out from behind her back and hand it to Wallace. She and Rosalina would then depart, presumably to attend to chores that needed to be done around the manor.

Tearing open the letter, Wallace would take a deep breath and begin to read the contents of the letter aloud.

"Dear Wallace,

I thank you for accepting this job on such short notice, and I hope the pay is enough. You're probably wondering what you're going to do for this job, and I due promise that further details will be delivered to you soon. For now all you need to know is this. Shortly, 11 unaware, everyday Pokémon from across the regions will pull up in that driveway, as well as myself. They think that they are here to participate in the newest gameshow, and they are partially correct. What they are unaware of is the stakes of the game. What's at stake, you may be thinking, and the answer to that is simple. What's at stake is half a million dollars as well as their life. They've already been made aware of the rules of the game, just not the tidbit about their lives. Before you think to run from the manor, I'd recommend checking what's attached to the back of this note.

Sincerely, your employer."

Taken aback, Wallace nearly dropped the note. Instead he turned it around and saw what was attached. It was another letter which held all of the information about the people staying at the house for the next week, and a photograph of his son was taped to the back of the letter, but it was shot through a window. On closer inspection he could see that it was through a snipers view, and the message was clear. His employer had eyes on his family, and if he did something that his employer didn't approve of he'd be putting not only his son's life in danger, but everyone he cared about's lives as well.

Wallace was never one for panic, and he didn't intend on starting now. Instead he gathered his bearings and walked out into the driveway in order to greet the guests that would arrive shortly. As shaken as he was, he was going to be extremely professional about it.

As he looked down the driveway he could see the first limousine heading up towards him. Wallace took a deep breath and walked towards the driver to meet the first unlucky soul picked to participate in this deadly game. As much as he wanted to tell the driver to drive away and never return he knew he couldn't, especially since there was surveillance on the estate and that it would most likely get back to his employer who surely must be watching to ensure everything would go off without a hitch.

I'm And there we go! I'm actually quite happy with how this introduction chapter went off and I'm excited to get started on the next chapter. What you can expect to see next are the houseguests/contestants that will be participating in this murder game, some interaction between them and the first murder. (Not the investigation and all of that but the body discovery.) I hope you're excited for that and if you'd like please leave a review with constructive criticism and your thoughts/predictions!

See y'all in a bit,

Max!
