Kitten dug in the dirt. Looking for pretty stones was always a good pass time and rather educational.

The baby dragon had joined Tkaa in her search for a decent meal of the only thing he ate. Stones. Stones, stones, stones, whereas Kitten just demolished everything she could get her tiny paws on. She chirped softly, almost a sigh. There was nothing here. Just the same old boring grey pebbles.

She was about to move to another location when a flicker caught her keen eye. Kitten rummaged around in the dirt once more, before drawing out a pale pink stone. She called for the basilisk, a series of clicks, chirps and whistles that had Tkaa comming at a gallop.

-What is it, Skysong?- he asked. Kitten never minded him calling her by her real name, her dragon name. Only her adoptive parents ever called her Kitten. She held up the pretty stone, chirping for him to have it for his dinner.

-Nonsense, child. You found it, it's yours- Tkaa insisted. Kitten barked at him in protest, and held it out for the basilisk. But the beast closed the young dragon's paws around the stone.

-I feel that this stone was ment to be found by you. For you to keep it- Kitten muttered clicks, and Tkaa laughed softly.

-Why don't you have it as a snack now?- he suggested. She inquired with a whistle.

-You may be suprised- Kitten shrugged, and tossed the pink stone into her mouth. Her predator jaws made quick work of the pebble, and soon she was finished. She looked at the basilisk.

"Can we go back now?" She asked, not realizing what she had done. Tkaa chuckled.

-Skysong, you can talk now- the dragon frozed, carnivorous eyes widening.

"We need to tell Daine and Numair."
