N/A I feel sick and I'm on my moms computer….I wanted to post something but I don't want to walk all the way upstairs, turn on my computer, wait for it to load….I feel like I owe you guys something so here's a short fluffyish sad little Scorpios piece!
"It's because of your father isn't it?" She whispered. "Darla told me you had been getting a lot of mail lately…" She looked down emotionlessly at the plate of food in font of her.
"No it has nothing to do with him at all it's just…." He started to say.
"Your mother then?" She interrupted. She stared past the people on the other side of the table and at the wall across from her.
"No Alice." He replied . "It has nothing to do with my family in the least."
He was lying. He was quite a good liar when it came to matters of his family. Practice had perfected his mask. He could tell you his father was a goblin that worked at gringotts and his mother was an evil dragon that lived within one of the vaults.
Not once would his face change from the calm, almost sincere looking, and stiff old mask he created. One would almost take to taking his word. Almost.
"Scorpios you should know by now that you can't lie to me." Alice stated, still blankly staring at the wall. "You should also know that I have met your family, mostly your father, enough times to know that they don't particularly like me."
"Now, Alice," He smiled slightly. "You've only met my father at those dinner parties that your dad holds, in his business suit, surrounded by people who all think the same way your dad does. The fact that you disagree with some of those opinions and he's supposed to agree with them is the only reason he acts that way around you."
He was lying.
"He actually admires your boldness and your bravery to disagree with your family."
He was lying.
"My decision is purely based on the fact that I just don't feel like this relationship is good for me anymore."
He was lying.
"I liked you a lot for a while, but my interests have changed."
He was lying.
" You've become too repetitive. The conversations are getting boring."
He was lying.
"Good bye Alice." He sighed. He stood up and made his way back to the Slytherin table to finish his dinner.
She looked down at hers. A nice slab of steak, halfway cut into eating sized little chunks with green beans and mashed potatoes. It was good food. But as of a few moments ago she had lost her appetite. She shoved her plate to the middle of the table and looked around. Did all her friends really have to finish dinner early to go study tonight? They would be there until past midnight if Madame Antiqus let them.
She looked over at the Slytherin table and saw him laughing at some probably simple minded joke one of his friends had just told.
That night she wrote a letter. In this letter she wrote about how she hated Scorpios Malfoy and couldn't be more then happy to be rid of him in her life. He had just been holding her back. He was just a jerk and an idiot who she had lost interest in long ago.
She was lying.
