Shadows
I used to live in darkness
Never allowed light on my face
I was a secret
And that seemed to be my place
Now I live in the light
But something just doesn't seem right
I am apart from everyone else
A dark angel among the light
Though nobody can tell
It's who I am
Can you see the real me,
Underneath the skin, the barcode
The world burst into colour
From the grey and black
I always though I'd never
be a part of this world.
But you opened my eyes
This is my world too,
