Chinese Proverb:
The Bad Leader makes men despair and despise him.
The Good Leader makes men happy and is revered.
The Great Leader makes men believe all that was accomplished "was done by themselves."

I've had this idea for years, never wrote it. Hope you like it. Give some response please.
Sitting on her bed, Serena contemplated the choice ahead of her. Outside the bedroom window, a storm brewed for in the distance, coming closer with every moment that passed. Already the sounds of distance thunder did nothing to quell her worries.
"Be mine, please," said the young man, not a year older than she. "I want to be with you forever."
Tears streaming from her eyes, Serena shuddered at the thought of his voice. The coldness and emptiness of what he proposed afterwords was unimaginable. Pain and anguish filled every part of her body, as she hugged her favorite bear with all of her might in a feeble attempt to make it all go away.
"Be mine please,"
Boiling some distance away, the thunderheads burst their atmospheric ceiling, billowing high into the upper troposphere, gaining energy from the jet stream that had conveniently moved itself to higher latitudes during the previous weeks. Newly spawned clouds rolled inland, harshly pushing waves along the rocky coastline.
Serena made up her mind. Diligently she put her pink bunny patterned raincoat and tried to head out of her room, running into her old desk with a profound *WHAK*. Doubling over and proceeding to hit her head on the desk as well, she collapsed on the ground, wheezing for air. The lights were off. "stupid" she managed to mumble, the wind knocked out of her. Clumsily, she stumbled to find the light switch, breathing heavily, the pain of her fall slowly subsiding. The glow of Halogen light spilled in from above.
She looked down at her desk. "Thats right, Dad's getting me a new one." Paint was pealing off of it and scratches riddled the desk on every side imaginable, but there were still some fond memories.
Walking slowly, she savored that feeling of home.
Opening the door, she left it.
A walk became a sprint as the rain started to fall uncontrollably across the Tokyo landscape.
"I've been waiting for you," a familiar voice yelled from across the park as Serena entered, "I was beginning to think you wouldn't show."
"I promised didn't I?" she laughed, secretly disguising despair.
"Yes you did. Speaking of which, what is your answer?"
Serena hesitated, walking closer to him.
"Well?"
"I will, for her sake."
"Good, I knew you'd come around" the brown haired Kaisa said and smiled, looking as if he'd just won the lottery. Taking her hand in his and placing a ring on her finger, he kissed her.
Hitting mainland, the storm unleashed a torrent of rain and lightening everywhere, lasting for hours. Elsewhere, feelings of pain and anguish that lasted even longer permeated a a once happy lover's soul.
