The day I met you,
I knew it was twist of fate,
that brought us here.
It was quiet strange,
that you,
The mostly unlikely person to have become my friend.
yes indeed you were the child of friendship,
yet you always seemed so far away,
funny how you always seem to be the cool one.
but I finally realized that,
I hadn't walked in your shoes yet,
I didn't realize who you really were.
I didn't know,
until it was too late,
and you had to leave.
I wish I did,
take the time,
and tried to understand who you were,
but now it is too late.
Maybe twist of fate,
will bring us together,
again,
forever.
Tai walked down the quiet street, it has been only one since Matt left had left for Los Angeles, but to Tai it was forever. The year had dragged by slowly and painfully driving Tai insane. He had fell in love with Matt a long time ago, but never had the courage.
" Crest of courage?" Tai thought, " Ha! Must have been a mistake, what courage do I have? I don't even dare tell my sister about having this crush on him. But Kari seems to know anyway. She was the one who found Matt's number for me as well as his address. Even though Kari seem to be helping him, Tai still didn't feel like trusting her at the moment. Even after all this time I would think some one has already found out, but no one seem to notice.
I can't get him out of my mind. I know I don't stand a chance, he is Matt Ishida, popular, a rock star, has almost all the girls swooning over him. How am I suppose to compete, what am I to him? Just a friend?
