Notes: This is for the 101/18/04 - 11/22/04 challenge at the lj community, anime100, even though it isn't for an anime. But the idea was inspired by the challenge, so I'll still give them credit even though I'll never post it there.
hundredword challenge day 2:5! Only 95 days left! (unless I miss a day and have to start all over...)
ONE OF THOSE DAYS
The zombies, though a nice change of pace, had been too frail to offer much of a challenge.
The same, however, couldn't be said for their master, a centuries old vampire named Vincent.
"I'll kill you, Slayer!" He raged as he charged her, all fangs and bad breath.
Buffy dodged the attack easily. She then reached for her trusty stake, usually concealed in her coat pocket. But all she found was a toothpick and some lint.
Not much help there.
'Crap, I'm in trouble!' she thought.
Some days it didn't pay to get out of bed.
