What to do when you meet.
…a hare
Tell him/her you have no food.
Give him/her food and regret it
Say 'look, a three headed man on a donkey' and escape in the confusion.
Poke it with a stick
…a rat
hit it with the with the thing closest to paw
hit it with your paw
offer it food
poke it with a stick
…a fox
Challenge it to a game of wits.
Pelt it with rocks/leaves/pinecones/walnuts.
Step on the fox's footpaw
Poke it with a stick
…a pike
run screaming in terror
run silently in terror
realize it's a baby pike with no teeth
poke it with a stick
