Chapter 1

Two days after Owen choked Callie in bed after having a nightmare, she was in the bathroom at Seattle Grace when Addison came out of a stall and made her way over to the sink.

"Hey," she said, washing her hands. Callie looked up.

"Hi," she replied.

"H how are things?" Addison asks.

"Fine better okay I guess," Callie tells her truthfully.

"Come here, let me get a look at you," Addison says, making Callie lift her chin with her hand.

"I I'm fine." Callie tries to lie to her friend.

"No you're not, it's still swollen," Addison replies solemnly.

"Please, still don't say anything, yet, please?" Callie tries to cover it up more with some cover up.

"Callie, you know that I love you," Addison tells her.

"Okay and I love you too." Callie tells her

"You're my best friend you know that, right?" Addison asks her another question.

"I know and you're mine, but ?" Callie questions Addison, trying to figure out where she s going with this.

"But, you and Owen need help!" Addison tells her kind of angrily crossing her arms over her chest.

"We're fine, and he's sorry," Callie defends her relationship.

"How do you know he won't do it again and kill you the next time Callie?!" Addison asks her seriously.

"I'm staying at Arizona's if it will make you feel any better," Callie quietly answers the question.

"Y you're staying with Dr. Robbins?" Addison asks her with a raised eyebrow.

"Arizona and yes I am," Callie states.

"Um wow, so uh, are you two a thing now?" Addison asks.

Callie just shrugs "I don't know yet," she replies honestly.

"What about the kids?" Addison wonders.

"They have been staying at Owen's mother s house," Callie shrugs.

"Are you having an affair with Robbins?" Addison asks almost the same question in a different way.

Callie just looks at her and nods slightly, giving in to the questioning.

"You're cheating on Owen with her?" Addison asks her seriously.

Callie nods shyly again.

"Wow, look at you go Torres." Addison says with a big smile.

Callie smiles. "Yeah, she's great. She's beautiful and sexy, and she just makes me happier than I've ever been," Callie tells her best friend.
