"I want to explore Paris with a beautiful girl."
Annabeth blushes, making me smile. "Alright. Where do you want to go next?" she asks. "Can we go to the top of the Eiffel tower? It'll be a beautiful view." She nods, takes my hand, and drags me down the stairs from where we were eating. Across the river seines we can see the Eiffel tower looming, reminding me of the Gods for some strange way. Speaking of which, I really hope the Gods don't ruin this night; I want it to be just me and Annabeth. "Did you know that the Eiffel tower was invented by Alexander Gustav Eiffel?" Annabeth asks. She continues blurting out facts about Paris as we walk down to a ferry to take us across the river. She keeps talking, while I'm in a daze, until we walk off the ferry. "So, you know what I mean?" she asks. I snap out of my trance. "Oh. Uh. Yah." I reply, acting like I was listening the whole time. "Seaweed Brain! You weren't even listening." Annabeth complains. "It doesn't matter now." I excuse. "We're here." Annabeth looks up at the Eiffel Tower in amazement. "This architecture is phenomenal! Especially in the time period they made it in. It has such great structure!" She runs around one of the legs, then goes into the middle. She looks at me excitedly. "Can we go up?" She asks like a child. I wave my hand over to the elevator. "Yep. C'mon. We might be in time to watch the sunset." She grins, a full teeth smile, and follows me to the elevator. We step in and go up to the middle floor with a couple of Parisian old ladies. Once at the middle, Annabeth gasps. "Look at the view!" "I know! But that's not all. We can go up to the top using stairs." I exclaim. Her eyes light up and again she follows me up to the next floor. Annabeth looks out onto Paris. She seems… well… speechless. The sun is just setting and all around it are pink and orange clouds that are fluffy yet wispy at the same time. "Look at those clouds!" I point out to Wise Girl. "Wow. That's absolutely breathtaking." She says. "They kinda look like cotton candy." "Yeah." I say. "They kinda do."
