I had returned from the Sengoku Jidai to replenish our supplies. Inuyasha just had a run-in with Koga, and everyone knows that those confrontations never end well. I had used the last of my bandages, and anyhow, I had a test tomorrow that half of my Algebra grade relied on! So I couldn't stay. Shippo tried to stop me, but I promised him a lollipop. So that's where I am now. The grocery store.
I got potato chips, lollipops, medicine, bandages, and I was just heading to the checkout line, when I saw it. An interesting new type of Ramen, on sale today only. And it was called Lime Chili Shrimp Ramen. When I saw it, only one thought brushed across my mind, I wonder if Inuyasha would eat it. I looked over the price and added up the price of the other items in my head. I had enough to buy some. So I did.
Well, the algebra test wasn't a total failure. There where some problems that could have been written in another language for all the sense they made to me, but I think I might have passed. At least, I hope so. I entered my house and flopped down on my bed for the final time before heading off to the Sengoku Jidai to meet Inuyasha and the rest of the gang. I closed my eyes, enjoying the fluffy-ness of my bed, then started to pack. Souta joined me, then wished me luck as I jumped down the well and into the past.
"I don't know why you bother going back there just to take all thesestupid tests. Why don't you just stay here?" Inuyasha said when I came back. I ignored him and gave Shippo his lollipop and Miroku took the potato chips, but Sango was nowhere to be found. "Hey, where did Sango go?" I said looking around as if she was going to appear any minute. "She left. She said she had something important to do and would be back in three days." Shippo said, continuing to lick my present. "Hey Kagome! You forgot to get me something?" Inuyasha said, slight anger in his voice as he watched Miroku eat the potato chips. "I didn't forget, I got you something better!" I said, pulling out the Lime Chili Shrimp Ramen.
Inuyasha watched closely as I heated up some water over a fire in a pot I brought from home. Then I tossed the ramen noodles and the packet of spices into the boiling water. I took it off the fire and let it cool slightly, then let Inuyasha dig in. "Yummy! This is really good! It's kind of spicy, but has a hint of fruit. What is it called?" He said, eating way too fast. "It's brand new, and it was on sale. It's called Lime Chili Shrimp ramen."
Miroku choked and Shippo stopped licking his lollipop. "What's chili? Is it a type of animal?" Inuyasha had a look of horror on his face. "WHAT type of ramen!" He said, spitting out the mouth full he had before shouting. Sadly I was standing in front of him and found myself covered in half-chewed ramen. I wiped some of it off my face an Inuyasha kept on yelling. He didn't even notice that he spat his ramen all over me! "YOU JERK! HOW DARE YOU SPIT FOOD OUT ALL OVER ME!" I shouted. Shippo put his fingers in his ears and Miroku just sighed. "I did? Oh Kagome-" he said, looking everywhere but at me. I cut him off. "Sit boy!" I shouted. Inuyasha slammed into the ground and I jumped back into the well. Oh well, at least I get to sleep in my bed and see my friends at school tomorrow...
