***I still don't own Ben 10! But if I did, the "perfect" Omnitrix that Azmuth created would've still had the Evolutionary abilities of the Ultimatrix.***

Prologue: A Day in the Life of a King
In the olden day castle of the Forever Knights, there was a king. A king who had won leadership of the kingdom through an act known as the Right of Conquest. As this man had defeated many high ranking members of the Forever Knights, and gained their King's power, he was crowned their new king. And right now, we find the new Forever King sitting at a desk doing a bit of paperwork. Paperwork that, thankfully, didn't pile up so much, but was still important.
"King Tennyson," said a guard as he walked in and knelt before his king. "The Queen of the planet Ashukorok has arrived, and requests an audience with you."
That's right, folks. The newest King of the Forever Knights is none other than Ben Tennyson. Having defeated many Forever Kings in the past and even defeating the Daigon when their previous King could not, Ben was crowned the new king of the Forever Knights. But this was not without consequence.
His girlfriend, Julie Yamamoto, had dumped him four weeks prior to the battle. She stated that she could no longer handle the stress of having to worry about whether he'll live or die when he's out fighting aliens. So she left him. And while he was disappointed, he didn't let that distract him from his duties as king.
Not long after Julie had dumped him, Ben gave the Ultimatrix back to Azmuth. Partly so it could be perfected, and partly so he could get stronger in his human form.
"Very well. Let her know that I am on my way." Ben instructed.
The knight nodded and set off to complete this task. As for Ben himself? He was left to his own thoughts. Ever since he'd become the new Forever King, he's been thinking about changing their ways in order to promote peaceful relations between humans and aliens. This seemed like a suitable alternative to simply killing all aliens and making themselves out to being a cult of terrorists.
But at the same time, he was curious as to why the Queen of Ashukorok would want to speak with him of all people. He wasn't royalty by blood, and Earth doesn't seem like an ideal place to colonize their people.
"Well, I'd best not keep her waiting. Lord knows what might happen if she loses her patience." Ben thought to himself.
So he set down the pen he was writing with, and began to make his way to the throne room. What was going to happen could possibly be the best thing to ever happen to him… or the worst thing that could happen to him.
Please note that I won't be able to update this story as often as my others. So, in the meantime, I hope you enjoy this story. Now, I'm off to update Ahsoka in Battle City!
