A/N: I don't own Rodney or Tech they belong to Platinum Films, I only own Network, Flair, Racer and Crystal.

It was a calm morning in Dream Street and everyone was waking up to a normal morning.

One of the residence a light blue hot rod with orange flames on his sides was happily snoozing when he was awoken by his friends getting on with their day.

He sighed and walked around getting the feeling back into his wheels.

"Morning Rodney." a small light yellow breakdown truck with a orange N on his sides greeted.

"Morning to you Network." Rodney smiled.

"Tech says he has a message for you from your parents." Network said and went off.

Rodney smiled and went to see Tech a grey robot.

"Hey Tech, Network said you got a message for me." Rodney said.

"Indeed I have." Tech said giving Rodney a small letter.

"Thanks." Rodney smiled and took the letter to a quiet spot to read it.

He opened the letter to see two bits of paper. He decided to read the larger bit of paper first.

Dear Rodney,

We apologize for not writing to you in a while, but there has not been anything interesting to say.

However we have some wonderful news to tell you.

You're going to be a big brother.

At the word brother Rodney had to do a double take.

We have sent with the letter a picture of your new sibling, it's due to arrive in April and we're hoping you can come down to see us and the baby when it arrives.

Lots of love

Mum & Dad

Rodney felt his gut do a back flip.

He quickly turned his attention to the picture.

He smiled to himself.

"Ok April, that's two months away, yeah I should be able to go down." he muttered to himself.

Two months later

Rodney had made his way down to see his parents, he was nervous about meeting his new sibling. All he knew was that it had arrived a few days ago but he hadn't been told what gender it was.

He gulped entering the hospital where his parents were.

He went in the room silently and smiled warmly.

"Hi mum, hi dad." he whispered.

Flair a orange hot rod with yellow flames on her sides smiled.

"Hot Rodney what time do you call this?" she joked.

"I came as soon as I got the letter." Rodney said.

Racer a dark navy hot rod with dark orange flames on his sides smiled.

"Are you ready to meet your new sister?" he asked.

Rodney chuckled to himself.

"I had a funny feeling it would be a girl." he said and followed his dad to a small cot where a yellow hot rod with blue flames was sleeping.

Rodney smiled feeling his heart melt.

"What's her name?" he asked.

"Her names Crystal." Flair replied.

Crystal yawned and opened her eyes looking at Rodney.

"Hello Crystal, I'm your big brother Rodney." Rodney whispered.

Crystal smiled at her brother and fell asleep again.

"She's adorable, can I take her back with me?" Rodney asked.

"Sorry Rodney." Racer smiled.

For the next few days Rodney stayed with his parents to help them look after Crystal.

When it was finally time for Rodney to leave Crystal tried to stop Rodney going.

"Don't worry Crystal, I'll come visit you and when your bigger you can come visit me and my friends." he said gently.

Crystal smiled and started to fall asleep.

"Ok little lady nap time for you." Flair said taking the baby off for a nap.

When Crystal was asleep Rodney said goodbye to his parents and returned home.
