She walks.
She cuts.
She is sure of each step
She takes.
Letting rubber stems,
Covered in blue,
Carry her down concrete steps.
Letting the wind play
With her platinum hair.
Letting her fingers
Glide over metal railings.
Such a black widow, silken webs
To catch her blue-stocking
Fly…..to pursue, to catch, to consume.
And she smiles
And it does not reach her eyes.
And she laughs
And it does not ring true.
She sips her drinks with her pinkie high,
Never a tremble, never a shake.
She begins conversations only to
Abandon them.
She sees the two forks and knows
Which one to use.
Such a sleek panther, retractable claws
To snare her elusive
Prey…..to bite, to dig, to devour.
And she dances all night
And the partner means nothing to her.
And she says polite things
And she does not believe them.
Bombs go off in her silver-blue eyes,
Brilliant fire red and ember orange.
Bullets cannonade in her ears,
A sweet symphony of destruction.
And her face becomes rapture
And it is so beautiful.
And her body leans to the sound
And it is so magical.
Such a handsome lady, cold and cruel
Intellect to draw others
Near……to inspire, to possess, to throw away.
Each kiss burns her lips
Yet she never stops her assault.
Each touch is incandescent
Yet she never ceases her hold.
Each whisper is one of hate
Yet her breath is tantalizingly warm.
Such a dangerous girl, impossible erotic charm
Oozing from her grin to her
Victims…..to seduce, to claim, to torture.
And she follows the imprints
On the plush carpet,
Tracking the soft steps
Of someone running scared.
And she opens the heavy door
To the familiar room,
Her eyes searching for her hidden pulse.
And she pulls her clothes off,
Letting them fall….
….breathing a sigh…..
….drinking in the air….
Letting the one who is frightened
Make the first move.
And she is listening to her heart beat fast
And she is wondering if that has
Ever happened before.
